Description
Got a phone call from DC comics and asked if I could do a rush job on a cover. I was about to say no because of my schedule but then the cover was described, "A GL ring with blood on it." That's it. Well, far be it from me to turn down an easy gig. Of course then it occurred to me that sometimes the simpler the cover the more it's a pain in the ass to do something cool and interesting. Luckily, this wasn't the case with this cover.

Instantly faved it. I linked it to my DC roleplay forum. It has now been faved by them as well. I promised them all I would hunt down the maker of this picture and stalk them until they revealed their secrets for making such holy-crap-incredible blood spatters. Because this picture is BOSS. The dramatic lighting, the blood holy crap.... it's amazing. There's SUCH an incredible story here and I don't even care what the real story is, this picture says enough for me! I LOVE IT. It's PERFECT in all the ways that art should be. I bow to you, a master of your craft.
