Long time no post here. Sorry about that.
Well, I did this cartoon awhile ago with Jon Adams and Titmouse Studios for MTV LiquidTv. It's episode one of three. Two will be out next week.
And if it gets enough hits, MTV might order more. So if you like it, tell your friends. If you don't, tell your enemies to watch it.

I get being a new artist is hard. We've all been there. And its real tempting to take from a more established artists than yourself in order to elevate your own art. Really, I get it. But when you get caught, confess. It'll go easier on you. Acting righteous and claiming that you were really ripping off "other" work that is not your own, and even claiming that you've never seen the original art is not the best way to handle the situation. Hey people! Just letting all of you know about 2 new art blogs that I'll be associated with from now on. The first is What Not Blog spot. http://whatnotisms.blogspot.com/ It's a weekly art blog featuring some of the top talent currently in the comic book industry.
The second is Johnson Cover Hi-Lo. http://johnsoncoverhi-lo.blogspot.com/ It'll be a weekly critical examination of the current weeks comic book covers. I'm going to get down and dirty as to what I think is wrong and right about cover design.
Trying to win a costume contest
Every year I make something by hand. And just about every year I lose to something topical/humorous. Hell, one year my first samurai costume lost to a guy who dressed up as Beetlejuice. 20 years after the fucking movie came out. Anyway, this year I wore my Batman Samurai outfit that I made last year, and the party I went to is having a photo contest after the fact. Wanna correct this injustice?
