Hey people! Just letting all of you know about 2 new art blogs that I'll be associated with from now on. The first is What Not Blog spot. whatnotisms.blogspot.com/ It's a weekly art blog featuring some of the top talent currently in the comic book industry.

The second is Johnson Cover Hi-Lo. johnsoncoverhi-lo.blogspot.com… It'll be a weekly critical examination of the current weeks comic book covers. I'm going to get down and dirty as to what I think is wrong and right about cover design.

Great blogs. Gotta say that Hi-Lo is the best resource on how to make a great covers I've seen. You learn more from mistakes than successes, and most industry folks aren't willing to publicly critique other professionals. Thanks for callin' a spade a spade. Keep em comin'!

I looked to follow What Not but I do everything through Facebook or here and I didn't see a way to add their updates to my facebook feed. :(

Just bookmarked both, Dave. For my money, you're the best "composer of compositions" in the biz, and the second blog is a great resource for me. I love the insight into your thoughts regarding elements that make covers work and fail. Thank you, and keep contributing!

Would love to get the chance to go drinking with you guys and Brian Ewing someday soon.
