SPACE ANGEL by Devilpig SPACE ANGEL by Devilpig
Did this for Comic Twart. The theme was "Space". So I did Space Angel. One of my favorite childhood memories.

Google it to see human lips moving on a cartoon. Crazy!

I am amazed that there are other people out there who also remember this show.

Wow nice!!! Looking at the Lips on these guys, It makes me think of "Clutch Cargo" from the 60! Possibly the 50's even! I just remember the reruns on the Ray Raynor Show in the 70's. Great work as always Mr. Johnson.

Okay this just officially made my day!!! You never, ever, can go wrong by doing Toth.
I saw a convention video of you a few days ago and was wondering about the Japanese marker/brush you were using.
I'm just wondering what brand/model it is. I'll probably find the answer as I noodle around you art and site.
But once again. Superb work.

Wow! I bought a DVD of old cartoons. On there was Colonel Bleep, and Space Angel. I never thought I'd see that referenced anywhere. Thanks for this reminder of how far television animation has come.

I think the great Alex Toth designed those characters.

You ain't kddin' about childhood memories! Visiting my grandma and grandpa in Indianapolis in the mid 1960's, getting up at 5am on a Sat. morning to watch Space angel when the channel came on at 6am while eating a bowl of Quisp and Quake.

Will you ever do another Super-Patriot series? While you continued on to do much bigger and better things, Super-Patriot will always be my favorite of the work you've done. Especially the Diehard/Super Patriot battle where SP keeps blowing hte hell out of Diehards cyberbodies.

Thanks for the memories man!
