I did this for a band called Streetlight Manifesto. One of the members was a huge SuperPatriot fan and wanted me to draw some kinda robot for their rock poster. I just did it without an approval process, and I'm not even sure they like it yet. But, I figured if they don't, fuck it, I do. And as all artists should know, that's all that matters.
Daily DeviationGiven 2009-07-02Addiction really is a serious & devastating problem...But in the case of Robot Junkie by *Devilpig, it at least makes for one darkly funny & kickass little piece of work! From the perfectly rouch & gritty feeling to the excellent robot design, dead-on mix of colors, nice perspective, sweet textures...Well, I could go on here for quite a while, actually. But bottom line, this is one striking, clever, & (somewhat ironically) irresistible gem that does indeed make for one killer poster design...Or just a killer Deviation in general, for that matter!
