I like Allreds work, has a kitchy nostalgic feel to it, but it's strange to me to see somone who is clearly a superior draftsman inking a penciler of lesser skill...shouldn't it be the other way round?
anyway, looks nice

ha great stuff! Allred is an awesome story teller. I dig your inks on his stuff as well. I can still see the Allred there but can also see the Johnson too.

Something about that sentence reads funny.

This colab works great! I love the enhancements you brought to Mike's work with the dry brush and variety of thick/thin lines. Really digging it!!

Mike Allred's so cool. I don't even need word balloons to "read" this story.

Inking's nice, too. Been reading the "Eisner/Miller" book, and they talk about inking, how sexy it is. What do you use? Can you give us any tips?

Just brush pens and regular pens. Oh, and 20 years of experience. Which BTW, I bought at a store.

Where can I get some of this "experience"?

Thanks for the response. I need to try my hand at this sometime. I just use a Sharpie, not a lot of subtlety with them things.
