Deadpool cover by Devilpig Deadpool cover by Devilpig
Well, Marvel just put this up so I guess I can too. It's a wrap around cover and I'm planning on having to cool text going on in the dead space about her legs. The original line is pretty huge, like 22"x15" on bristol.

Enjoy.

I like how it's a parody of James Bond opening sequences, as Deadpool is a parody of, well, normality.

Actually, it's a truckers mud flap. It's true.

I thought of that too, but the silhouette with the characters inside made me think of Bond, James Bond.

I've seen both versions and I think I like the negative-space the best. Sometimes it just makes the better picture.
Really cool and strange is that Deadpool is shooting her butt.

If it's any consolation, Marvel not only didn't pay me extra for turning that into a cover, they don't even send you a copy of the poster. But thanks.

Top stuff. I'm a massive Deadpoll fan and you've captured him perfectly.

Love the James Bond style theme as well. Really suits it.

this is so james bond ^.^ i love it for deadpool. normally his covers are very action comedy to go more with his personality but this creates a contrast to his cartoon villian self with the classy james bond throw back. and i like the ripple lines. i cant quite put my finger on it or find the words to describe why, but i guess its just more of the james bond throw back with the ripples. it also creates a nice texture.

Nice piece! Nice silhouette and idea.
A pure technical question: the circular lines, are they done digiatlly or on the original piece, if so, how?
