J.C. Leyendecker. What more can you say about this genius? He was, and will always be THE MAN!!! Many artists have 'homaged' this poster before me. So when the editor of the book said "Do a cover like a propaganda poster" I knew that instant which one I wanted to parody. And, choosing to make fun of grown men and women running around with foam swords acting like elves and goblins was too funny NOT to do it. Sorry all you L.A.R.P.ers out there. Much respect.... and LIGHTNING BOLT!!!!

I actually liked the version that said 'the big old ugly stick' on the stick better, that was great.

Im a Leyendecker nut. This deserves every lama you can get. Although I love Panosian too. I'm withholding any official endorsements for now, unless one of you has a viable plan for a colony on the moon.
